Cast thy burdens – Don Moen

Is there a burden I face because of my religious upbringing? Probably. It is why sometimes I think I need to do everything on my own – it’s up to me. So Jesus tells me to do this and it makes sense.

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28  ESV

I believe He is telling me to come to Him, accept my life with Him in the kingdom of God as a little child would accept it and just begin to live it.

The invitation is a gracious one and it is open to anyone who wants to experience relief,  joy and blessings that come through a grace/faith relationship with Him. It is aimed at all, but especially the curious, and it promises to take them into a deeper level of commitment where we can learn from Him.
